Hello! I'm Kristin. I have been a practicing clinical social worker for over 14 years, with roles as a therapist within Inpatient, Outpatient, Crisis, and Telehealth settings. With a Master's Degree in Social Work from University of Denver in Denver, Colorado, I have had the unique experience of a career that has led me to work in in multiple states and even two other countries.
I have a passion for truly learning about people and supporting each individual on their own path of positive mental health. I integrate Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Trauma-Informed Care into my day-to-day sessions. This allows me to meet each of my clients where they're at in life and not use a 'one size fits all' approach.
For self-care I enjoy spending time with my husband, four children (7y, 6y, 3y twins), extended family, and close friends. I love coffee, traveling, trying new restaurants, watching reality tv, lighting a good smelling candle, and just swinging on my porch swing.
I have seen so many clients come through my door (or telehealth session) not knowing even what goals they need or want to set for themselves. Watching those clients grow, conquer their fears, create healthy boundaries, and gain so much confidence... that is priceless. It has happened over and over in my office, and I want to help you get there too.
